Louisa Buck is a British art critic. She writes for a number of journals, and is contemporary art correspondent for The Art Newspaper. She often appears on television and was a jurist for the 2005 Turner Prize.
She is the author of several respected books on the art world, including Moving Targets and Moving Targets 2, which gave tribute to the people who made contemporary British art what it is today.
More recently, she wrote Owning Art with co-author Judith Greer, a guide for those looking to buy art for the first time, and is currently writing a follow-up book, Commissioning Art, which delves further into the art world and the processes which underpin it.
